	IRS Data Retrieval Tool This short video explains how to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. The retrieval tool allows FAFSA applicants and parents with the ability to transfer their income information from the IRS to the FAFSA.

	Federal Direct Stafford Loan In order to receive a Federal Direct Stafford Loan you must first complete the FAFSA. After being awarded, you will need to accept your Stafford Loan(s) on PAWS. If you are a first-time borrower you are required to complete both a Master Promissory Note (MPN) as well as Entrance Loan Counseling at www.studentloans.gov.

**New borrowers must complete Entrance Loan Counseling before the first disbursement of their loan assistance at TCNJ. Borrowers graduating, ceasing enrollment, or withdrawing from TCNJ must complete Exit Loan Counseling prior to leaving the campus. Failure to oblige these requirements may result in award cancellation or the withholding of student records.
